On the 9th March, we welcome the Chaste Full Moon. So called because March sees the end of Winter and the pure Spring season is to emerge in the Northern Hemisphere. Also called the Worm Moon, as now the earth has thawed, the earthworms come to the surface, providing food for birds and mammals needing sustenance as they embark on the arduous task of procreation.
With the promise of abundance in Nature, so we can wish for it too. A perfect time to Cast a Spell for Health, Wealth and Happiness - and true Love too.

Do Lucky Charms Work?
For many centuries people from all different cultures and ancient civilizations have used lucky charms to ward off evil, for protection and to bring good luck. But do lucky charms really work?
Well, I have to say, I firmly believe they do. I believe that carrying a good luck charm is a tangible and physical representative of aligning to the powerful Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction in simple terms explains that we draw towards ourselves positive energies if we think, act and are positive people.
If you've ever wondered why some people seem to have all the luck in the world whereas others seem to lurch from one period of bad luck to the next, taking one step forward and three steps back. The answer could be a simple good luck charm.
Different cultures all seem to have their own favourite lucky charm. The Irish consider the Shamrock as a good luck charm, whereas the Scots claim Heather as a lucky charm. Both the Turks and the Greeks agree that a blue bead with an eye marking upon it wards off the Evil Eve and curses. The Chinese have lucky coins.
The hidden powers of good luck amulets such as horseshoes, rabbit's feet and lucky pennies could well bring you wealth, good health and happiness.
Here are just a few of the more recognisable Good Luck Charms:
The most recognisable symbol of good luck is that of the Horseshoe. Placed upright, on a front door it is believed to allow good luck to enter your home.
The three leafed clover of the Shamrock symbolises not only the Holy Trinity but also health, wealth and happiness. The 'luck of the Irish' has always been associated with the wearing of the Shamrock.
The Acorn is of course the nut of the Oak tree. Carrying a fallen Acorn is believed to ensure youthfulness to the owner and can attract both wealth and love.
Lucky heather, worn in the lapel, particularly purchased from a Gypsy, is said to bring good luck and health to the wearer.
Evil Eye Protection
The Evil Eye, usually inadvertently placed upon someone, can lead to bad luck, illness, loss of wealth and loss of sexual libido. Carrying or wearing a blue coloured bead with an eye upon it helps protect against the Evil Eye.
The five pointed star known as a Pentacle, when encircled becomes a Pentagram. This ancient symbol represents the powerful elements of air, earth, fire, water and Spirit. Wearing a Pentagram is very protective and will bring good lucky to the wearer.

Take your Tarot Deck (if you haven't got a Tarot Deck yet, go HERE to order yours), hold it in your hand for about 30 seconds. Shuffle Your Deck 33 times. It doesn't matter if you drop cards, or cards get reversed or messed up, simply gather them comfortably in your hand and shuffle again. Take your time.
Once you have shuffled your Tarot Deck 33 times, hold the cards in front of you, draw the top card, and lay it down in front of you.
If your card is the Death Card. Go to the Death Card Page on my website and read about this card.

The Green Witches Coven Virtual Gathering takes place on the day of the Full Moon on the 9th March.
If you are taking part, please take some time to consider the subject of this month’s Coven Gathering: The Coronavirus.
That we, in connection with this, the Witches of the Green Witches Coven, do Banish all fear, all prejudice, all ignorance, and all unreasonable apprehension; and do endow all concerned with the Power to Resist, to Know, to Learn and to Teach.
…and follow this Ritual:
During the day of the Full Moon repeat the following words 33 times. If you are able to say the words loudly then do so. If circumstances prevent you from speaking aloud, then repeat the words silently.
“33 times these words we speak
A positive outcome is all we seek
We gather together and call out as one
That our words are heard and our will is done
Hear our plea, so mote it be!”
Before commencing the Full Moon Spell Casting Ritual, gather your ingredients:
A pinch of dried herbs of your choosing – this could be a mix of sage, rosemary, thyme, mint etc.
A pinch of salt
A white candle
A container of water
Arrange the dried herbs around the base of the candle.
Add the salt to the herbs. Light the candle.
Recite the words of the Full Moon Spell Casting Ritual.
When you are ready, dip the fingers of your dominant hand into the water and flick or drip the water onto the lit candle until the flame is extinguished.
Always remember: Members of the Green Witches Coven are supported and protected by Powerful Energy. The Energy of the Coven!
Blessings to All!
