The Haunted Apartment

My fiancé and I live in a building that once caught fire. There are now children and elderly people who walk around the hallways and come into our apartment.

They like to knock and then sit and stare at the children. We have tried everything we know to make them leave, from exorcisms to burning sage and salt. They keep coming back. Some of them are very angry towards us . Some will stand as dark shadowy figures and stare us at night and tell us to leave our bedroom. We try our best to live with them, but at times they make things rather complicated and are willing to go as far as actually hitting us.

We are witches and we try not to upset them, but now everything that we do bothers them . So we watch them follow us around and listen to them telling us to get out because to them this place is still theirs. This is our story. Some people won't even come in our apartment and would prefer to stand outside because of how it makes them feel - even other witches.

We did not bring them here. As far as we know these spirits are from the fire many years ago. There is no document of how many people died here, or who died here. So we think it happened a very long time ago. Sometimes they will talk, but not very often . They will mostly just follow you around or knock on doors or make lights flicker. Unfortunately, lately it has really effected the children and we may have to move soon because of this.
