Recurring Bus Dream

I have a recurring dream that I would love to know the meaning of. I have had the same themed dream over many years. It is always about a bus. Sometimes I catch the wrong bus; other times the bus has seats that are peculiar. Sometimes the bus takes me to familiar places and at other times I am waiting at a bus stop. I often dream I am on the top deck of a double decker bus and am in control of driving it –or more accurately out of control, as the bus is running away and I can't drive it.

The strangest dream I had involved Elvis Presley singing and playing his guitar on the bus! He was not famous but just one of the passengers on the bus.

I have these bus dreams at least once every 3 months and have had them for about 30 years.

I have looked at the dream meaning of buses and have found that most dream interpreters agree that the bus dreams represent the journey of my life. When I'm lacking direction, uncertain about decisions I need to make or experiencing some form of stress or upheaval I will have a bus dream.

I feel that my bus dreams are a reminder to me to look at what direction my life is going in. The bus dreams force me to look closely at what is troubling me and address it, deal with it and get over it.
