Crying Dream

Hi, I had a dream last night. I was in a house I think, or institute, with my friend and two other people, who I knew but don't know who they were in the dream (if that makes sense). I was looking for my friend. I said to the other two, "I think she went in here." I opened a door, which was a bedroom. There was a bed in the room which was made up.

My friend was in there talking to someone and moving the bedding to cover them up, but there was no one in the bed. (My friend in the dream was a friend from real life, but she didn't look anything like my real life friend - different hair colour, not tall enough, etc.) I quietly backed out of the room and gently closed the door.

I walked down the corridor and sat with my back against a wall and started to cry. (The other two friends were stood next to me, but out of eye shot of my dream so I couldn't see them.) A lady walked past me and asked if I was okay, I didn't reply, she just smiled and said "this is your first time in this house, the first time is always the hardest, it will get easier, you are welcome here any time you like.". With that I woke up, and I was crying.

If anyone is able to help me with the meaning i would be really grateful.
