Black Bear Dream

In my dream I am outside of my mountain home.

As I stand on the deck I look out at the road and there was this big black bear standing there. Once he noticed me looking at him, he got angry and started to charge towards me. I ran to get through the door and into the house, scared to death. As I try to slam the door shut the bear managed to get his nose inside and he was very angry, and kept pushing against the door trying to get in.

I kept pushing on the other side trying to shut the door against the bear. Then my dead Father came out of another room and started to push with me. We managed to push the door shut and keep the big black bear out. He was outside trying to find a way to get in.

Now for my Dad to be in my dream was strange because he and I never talked once I got older and chose my own path. When I was a child he always dreamed about me and black bears, so I find it all strange.
